Living in the picturesque Amber Valley alongside the tranquil River Derwent in Derbyshire, provides me a beautiful location for much of my work. This and my strong links with the Scottish Highlands allow me to photograph at a wide and varied range of settings.
Your equine photoshoot experience begins with a one-to-one consultation with James, when he will discuss with you some ideas about the look, feel and overall view you require and together the photography session will start to take form. James will also get to know your horse's charm and characteristics which make it so special to you.
Your photo sessions can be booked for any time of the day but our preferred is just after sun rise and just before dusk. The sun is close to the horizon and this creates softer lighting, long shadows and there is a warmer hue. These times of the day are simply magical and is why we call it "The Magical Hour".
After your photo session, we will digitally process your images and you will be invited to view and select your preferred package at your chosen location or on-line.
